Scrappy pages

This is my 3rd page that I'm really proud of.  The picture is of my daughter sitting on the counter making her own pb&j sandwich.  It was so cute!  I use Prima paper and a swirl chipboard design painted & Stickled!  I also used Glossy Accents for the butterfly (insisted by my DD!), Prima flowers, and Stickled J!  My daughter loves this and recalls her doing it every time she looks at it!  Cute!

I completed this page fairly quickly.  My DH took this picture and when looking closer, I could see my reflection in my daughter's eye.  Darling!  I used a heavier cardstock (learning from my 1st experience!) and used a punch.  I also tried my had at glitter glue...didn't know about Stickles yet!  I added tiny dots of it around my daughter's eyelashes and her hair.  Loved how that turned out!

11/23/10
This is the very 1st page I've done.  I completed it in February.  It is very basic and simplistic (very different than what I like now!) but I certainly wouldn't change a thing!
At the time, I didn't know about quality solid cardstock over flimsy patterned paper.  I used a lot of stickers & tried my first Sizzix die cut.  I typed/printed the text.
